Aetna small group ACA has issued a rate update for Q1 2024. Quoting is available. Statewide average change for the quarter shows the following changes:
- HMO 2%
- PPO 1.81%
Plans have been updated to meet AV requirements for 2024. In addition, the mental health office visit has been aligned with the PCP cost share by plan. Previously this benefit was aligned with the specialist plan cost share. See the California Toolkit | Plan Guide for details.
Plan Termination
The Bronze MC 100/50 7350 plan has been discontinued as of 2024. With the portfolio update to meet AV requirements, it was discovered this plan became a duplicate offering. There is limited membership in this plan currently. These members will be auto transitioned at 2024 renewal to either the 8300 or 5500 Bronze plans, however members may elect another plan design at renewal if desired.
Network Updates
The HMO Basic & AWH Southern CA OA MC networks will not be offered in 2024. Existing members will be transitioned to a different network at their 2024 renewal.
New Value Add Programs
Introduction of $0 Teladoc for behavioral health and $0 Preferred Diabetic Benefit added to non-mandated plans.
