Effective July 1, 2023, Aetna is making pharmacy drug changes to their 2023 Aetna Health Exchange Plan, Small Group California formulary. The Aetna Health Exchange plan – Small Group formulary will now be separated in to two separate formularies – California HMO and California OAMC/PPO.
The new formularies will be available on the Aetna website on June 30th. When searching the formulary list, the new names will be:
- Aetna Health Exchange Plan - California - HMO
- Aetna Health Exchange Plan - California - OA Managed Choice® POS, Open Choice® PPO
Aetna will send OAMC/PPO members a letter to inform them of the change so they can plan accordingly for their next refill on or after July 1, 2023.
