Nov 21, 2024
During the week of November 13th, Allstate Benefits sent an email communication to all level funded groups concerning the CAA Gag Clause Prohibition Attestation. Brokers also received a notice.
Allstate Benefits will submit the Gag Clause Prohibition Attestation on behalf of its level funded groups if they complete a survey to attest they are in compliance since their 2023 Gag Clause Attestation submission. The following guidelines apply:
- The survey must be completed by Friday, December 13, 2024. There will be no extensions and late entries will not be accepted.
- Allstate Benefits will submit to CMS on or before December 31, 2024.
- Allstate Benefits will also provide information on how groups may attest on their own, if they wish to do so or if they miss the December 13th deadline.
- The broker/agent cannot complete the survey on behalf of the group.
