Virtual care will remain available with little or no additional cost
Anthem is always working to increase value and improve the well-being of your clients and their employees. When Anthem first launched virtual primary care, select clients and their employees gained access to the experience for $0.1 Due to positive feedback and steady use of virtual primary care, they are extending access for those same clients' employees through December 31, 2022. After that date, they may continue to receive virtual care benefits if it's part of their 2023 plan. And now, along with urgent chats and primary care visits, members can schedule their virtual annual preventive care (wellness) visit. 2
Virtual primary care on the Sydney℠ Health app offers:
- Convenient access. Members have access to urgent care anytime without an appointment and scheduled primary care visits, through their computer or mobile device.
- Affordable visits. Virtual urgent or primary care visits are available for little to no additional cost.
- Whole-health support. Sydney virtual primary care physicians can diagnose hundreds of conditions, as well as conduct annual preventive health visits, write or refill prescriptions, and answer everyday health and wellness questions.3
