Anthem Blue Cross Addresses Furloughed Employees Amid COVID-19
Anthem Blue Cross updated their COVID-19 FAQ, which addresses relaxed eligibility requirements. For California Small and Large Group, Anthem will allow the same flexibility for new business as they do for existing business with one exception; furloughed employees must be on the prior carrier bill or DE9C to be eligible. If not, they will be considered ineligible and will not be able to enroll for coverage.
