Anthem Blue Cross is alerting brokers that a subset of customers (7,388 SBGs) received a letter in error. The letter advised them that their transition to Anthem’s new PBM, Ingenio Rx, would be effective July 1, 2019. Impacted customers will actually transition on January 1, 2020. You can anticipate inquiries about the letter. Please let your clients know that it was sent in error.
