Anthem has reached a new multi-year agreement with El Camino Health, comprising hospital campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos, effective October 1, 2021. El Camino Health provides services to members in the South San Francisco Bay area.
As you recall, El Camino Health, issued a notice to terminate its Contracting Hospital Agreement with Anthem Blue Cross effective June 1, 2021. Since they were unable to reach agreement, the contract terminated. With this new contract agreement, El Camino Health will return to Anthem’s Network as of October 1, 2021.
