Anthem Blue Cross is extending the Special Enrollment Period (SEP) through April 15, 2020 for an April 1, 2020 effective date. The SEP is available to employees in fully insured small and large groups who previously waived participation in employer-sponsored plans. State eligibility guidelines apply.
Who Is Eligible?
Employees, their spouses, and dependents who were eligible for benefits during open enrollment are eligible for this SEP if they had previously waived coverage. This does not apply to life and disability plans.
How it works
An employee enrollment application can be used for SEP. Please make sure to use the application that applies to the current group's plan benefit. For example, if the group has 2019 plans, the 2019 employee application should be used.
