St. Vincent Medical Center closed and discontinued all services on January 24, 2020. The Los Angeles acute care hospital had been contracted with Anthem Blue Cross. On February 11, 2020, Anthem mailed post-closure letters to DMHC and CDI members who sought services in the past 12 months or had a family member do so from St. Vincent Medical Center physicians or HMO groups with hospital admitting privileges.
