CAA RxDC D1 reporting update: Anthem can file on your ASO clients’ behalf
As follow up to the January notice “Changes to 2023 CAA RxDC reporting for self-funded groups,” this week Anthem is letting self-funded groups know they’re now offering to submit Data Sheet (D1) reporting on their behalf for the 2022 reporting year only.*
Self-funded groups that want Anthem to submit their 2022 D1 reports will need to complete this form with all required information no later than March 24, 2023. Their client management teams can help answer questions about submitting the D1 reporting request form to Anthem.
Here is a copy of the notice Anthem has sent to these employers.
Note: Anthem is not validating any employer submitted data for accuracy. In addition, Anthem will not accept data from third party vendors (e.g., Stop Loss vendor), thus groups or their vendors will be responsible for submitting the appropriate reporting to CMS for these vendors, if applicable.
* This is an ASO exception only. JAA groups continue to remain responsible for their own filing.
