Reimagining how members access the care they need
Anthem has expanded the virtual care experience on their Sydney℠ Health app to now include access to primary care. As they continue to change the face of healthcare, they’re making it easier and more affordable for your self-funded and balance-funded clients and their employees to focus on overall healthcare — not just urgent needs.
Personalized, whole-person care
Through the app, members can schedule a virtual primary care appointment for a time that suits them best. Each visit or chat with a virtual care doctor is available at low or no cost to members, including:1
- Preventive care and recommended lab tests with an annual preventive wellness visit coming on September 1, 2022.
- Unique care plans for overall health and for chronic conditions, such as diabetes.
- New prescriptions and referrals.2
Plus, the doctor can see their virtual care history and will follow up to see how they’re doing after the chat or visit.
The success of reimagined healthcare can lower costs and improve health:
- 86% of consumers who use virtual care love it.3
- 85% of virtual visits result the person’s needs.4
- 50% of consumers that they will use virtual care more than before.3
