Anthem has worked closely with Prospect Medical Holdings for several months, but hasn't yet reached an agreement to keep them in your clients' plans.
While Anthem remains committed to reaching a new agreement, state law requires they notify members about the status of these negotiations. Anthem sent letters to your clients and their employees letting them know that they are in active negotiations. There are no immediate changes to members' health plans at this time. Anthem will continue to negotiate with Prospect Medical Holdings and hopes to reach an agreement that keeps them in the networks.
