Kids Plus is an optional dental program that enhances benefits for children up to age 13. It covers diagnostic, preventive, basic, and major services when visiting a participating provider.
Your clients can add Kids Plus to their existing dental benefits package at renewal.
It provides cost certainty with:
- $0 deductible.
- 100% coverage.
- No waiting periods.
Early childhood caries, a type of early tooth decay, is a common childhood oral health problem that can lead to more serious issues. It’s largely preventable with proper dental care. Kids Plus can help prevent this disease by encouraging parents to seek early essential childhood dental care.
If services are received by a non-participating provider, the coverage will revert to the original contract without Kids Plus coverage. All waiting periods, deductibles, and coinsurances will apply. Orthodontic services are not included.
