Banner|Aetna small group ACA has issued a rate update for Q1 2025. Quoting is available. The average quarterly increase is 2.6%.
Plans have been updated to meet AV requirements for 2025. See the 2025 Plan Grid for details.
Value-Add Changes
- Aetna Health Your Way-Core: Added to all ACA plans as of 2025. Program is the same as the "engage" program for AFA plans, except members do not earn points or gift cards. Members have access to digital assessments, coaching programs, 24-hour nurse line, member discounts and more.
- Contraceptives up to 12 months: Contraceptives must now be covered up to a 12 month supply.
- $0 Diabetic Benefit: Cost share is $0 (deductible waived if applicable) for covered diabetic prescription drugs and supplies. In addition:
- Members with diabetes can order a new blood glucose meter from Aetna.com for $0
- Health Your Way includes diabetes-specific journeys with "manage pre-diabetes" and "manage diabetes" modules.
Specialty Pharmacy Update
All Banner|Aetna members must obtain specialty prescriptions from Banner Family Pharmacy and may not use any other provider. As of 2025, the network name has been updated from "Banner|Aetna Specialty Pharmacy Network" to "Banner Family Pharmacy Specialty Network"
