As part of the product transformation and portfolio simplification efforts, three DPPO plans will be withdrawn from Blue Shield's Specialty portfolio beginning January 1, 2025. See mapping grid for the list of withdrawn plans and corresponding recommended available plans.
Groups with enrollment in one of the three plans being withdrawn will be automatically mapped to a recommended plan during 2025 renewal. If you are impacted, moving your clients to a different dental plan early will help ensure an easier renewal experience come 2025.
