CCSB Adds to Blue Shield of California Premium Credit

Covered California for Small Business (CCSB) will apply a 10% one-time premium credit for eligible employees who are enrolled in an employer-sponsored Blue Shield of California health plan. The CCSB credit is in addition to a one-time premium credit that Blue Shield will be applying to help ease the financial burden of COVID-19. 

This credit will be reflected on the employer's December billing statement. 

Covered California for Small Business will pay commissions based on premiums received from customers. CCSB will email affected small business employer groups about the premium credit program.
