Introducing Virtual Primary Care
When members stay on top of routine care with regular primary care provider visits they stay well. Cigna + Oscar make it easy for members to get routine care on their terms.
Starting 1/1, Cigna + Oscar will be offering Virtual Primary Care Visits with a $0 copay on all non-HSA plans. This is in addition to Cigna + Oscar's existing Virtual Urgent Care.
Just log into the Oscar app and the virtual doctor's office will be there through video, phone, or secure messaging. It's up to the member.
What Can Virtual Primary Care Address?
- A whole team is by your side: The Oscar Primary Care team includes a licensed provider, a nurse, and a medical assistant. When something comes up, simply message the medical team right through t he app and they'll be in t ouch.
- Ongoing support for chronic conditions: The team can also help members develop a tailored care plan and coordinate care, from ongoing diabetes management and resources to mental health support, and more,
- Get in-person care whenever you need it: Sometimes to get a full picture of your health, you'll need in- person care. When that time comes, the team will direct members to the right specialist, lab, or imaging facility in the network. Some screenings and tests may be available to be done in the comfort of home too.
