Blue Shield of California’s Trio network has expanded in Riverside, San Bernardino, and Tulare counties, available Q4 2019. The 2019 Trio plans in the new service areas are available off-exchange only (including Mirror plans); the expanded network will be available for on-exchange beginning 2020.
Trio enrollment for Kings and Fresno counties opens Q1 2020. Blue Shield apologizes for confusion, as they previously announced this expansion was effective immediately.
- Riverside and San Bernardino counties are served by Empire Physicians Medical Group and Coachella Valley Physicians Inc, along with Eisenhower Medical Center.
- Tulare, Kings, and Fresno counties are served by Key Medical Group and Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
