UnitedHealthcare has allowed groups with 10+ eligible employees to submit a Participation Certification form in lieu of a DE-9C. Last month it was announced that the guideline would be lowered to 6+ eligible.
Effective immediately, UnitedHealthcare has reversed this decision and will return to only allowing groups with 10+ eligible to qualify. All groups of 1-9 eligible are required to submit a DE-9C, (no exceptions).
