Write DeltaCare USA DHMO with Another Carrier's DPO!
Delta Dental is allowing their DeltaCare USA DHMO plans to be written alongside another carrier’s DPO for eligible groups losing CDN coverage effective October 1, 2024.
Here are the key details:
- Only groups terminating from the California Dental Network (CDN) are eligible
- A minimum of 2 enrolled and maximum of 99 enrolled on DeltaCare USA DHMO plan
- Rates based on ER’s contribution % and county/region
- Current DeltaCare USA DHMO book rates 2 to 99 apply
- Waivers not required even if 100% ER contribution toward DHMO
- Prior month’s invoice required as proof of CDN policy
- If quoting both DHMO and PPO, Delta’s standard small group underwriting guidelines apply
- Delta Dental will allow an extended contract so that the group renews with the remaining benefits at the next renewal.
- Groups with 25 or more DHMO enrollees are eligible for Preferred Pricing discounts.
