The White House is urging employers to comply with a new vaccine mandate even though a federal appeals court has temporarily blocked the requirement. Under the OSHA rule, employers with at least 100 workers will have to require employees to be fully vaccinated by January 4, 2022 or wear masks and get tested for the virus every week. The OSHA rule will also require these employers to provide paid-time for employees to get vaccinated.

In related news, a Kaiser Family Foundation survey finds that 25% of workers say their employer has a vaccine requirement in place, up from 9% in June. Only 5% of unvaccinated adults say they left a job because an employer required them to get vaccinated.
