Florida Blue has announced several changes to their commercial plans' medication guides, all effective on January 1, 2024. These changes affect preferred drug lists including the Pharmacy Coverage Exclusion List and Formulary Tier changes.
Members who are affected by these changes will begin receiving letters announcing the changes over the next several weeks, encouraging them to work with their treating providers to select covered (or lower-tier) alternatives. Members who continue to use the medications affected by these changes will be responsible for a higher amount when filling the prescriptions at the pharmacy.

After logging in, members can see which drugs are covered and what authorizations may be needed, if any. Members can also enter drug names and compare prices at different pharmacies.
