GeoBlue is always looking for ways to improve their products and services for their members to have the best possible experience. They have recently made two important enhancements to their member services: E-Claim Submission and Benefits Accumulator. Be sure to share these features with your clients, as they greatly enhance their user experience!
E-Claim Submission - Now ALL Individual members have the option to submit e-claims and track their progress through the member site! A guided process makes it easy to enter information, upload supporting documents and save contact and bank details for future claims. This valuable service was previously only available to our long-term expat members.
To find this feature log into Member Services and look under Claims. If a member wants to view the claims of a dependent over the age of 18, the dependent will need to grant permission. A HIPAA authorization form can be found on the Member Portal, under “Member Services” on the “Claims” page.
Benefits Accumulator - All members can now log in to the portal to see how much they’ve paid toward their deductible and out-of-pocket/coinsurance limits. This provides much-needed transparency, so members know where they stand financially with their benefits. It’s also much more convenient, as members no longer need to contact our Global Service Center for this information. Members can find this information under “Coverage and Benefits” in the “Benefits Usage” tab
