GeoBlue is aware of the events taking place in Israel and have been monitoring the impacts alongside their security partner, Crisis24 and want to assure you that they are here to support you in any way they can. The latest travel advisory update from Crisis24 is below for reference, along with additional resources and information.
Support for impacted members and administrators
- In-the-moment counseling support. Members have access to a counselor using the GeoBlue mobile app. Members should click the “Telehealth” button within the app and then click the “Talk to a Counselor” feature.
- Tips to cope. GeoBlue's wellness portal, accessible within the online Member Hub, includes several resources under “News to You,” “Israel-Gaza Conflict” with guidance on how to help cope with concern for family, friends and loved ones in the area.
- Talk to a doctor. Members have 24/7/365 access to telehealth services through Global TeleMD™ at no additional cost. Within the GeoBlue mobile app, choose "Telehealth" and then select "Talk to a Doctor." This service is for non-emergent medical situations.
- Questions about care and medication needs. If telemedicine is not appropriate for a member’s situation and they are having trouble finding a doctor/facility or refilling a prescription, please advise them to contact GeoBlue at the number on the back of their ID card. The team is available 24/7/365 to help them get the care and medication they need.
