Health Plan Members Are Very Satisfied with Virtual Care

Virtual primary care (VPC) has become an important element of any healthcare plan. Sixty-seven percent of respondents say they would be more likely to stay with their health insurer long-term if they were offered remote physical examinations. Sixty-six percent of users who have experienced virtual care would consider a digital-first plan. Also, 80% of health insurance members will use virtual primary care instead of going to the emergency room. 

Members are increasingly satisfied with remote physical examinations, with 87% saying they are pleased with health insurers who offer them use of the technology for remote visits.
