The UHC Level Funded New Business Implementation Credit
UHC LF Groups in Maryland
Groups with October 1, 2022 to February 1, 2023 effective dates will get a New Business Implementation Credit. It’s only available for groups with under 51 eligible employees.
A One-Time Credit
A one-time credit will be applied to the third billing statement.
How it works
- $2,500 credit for 10-20 enrolled employees
- $4,000 for 21-30
- $5,000 to 31-40
- $6,500 for 41-50
A Change in the Level Funding Appointment Process
Effective 8/29/22, appointment processing is transitioning from the All Savers L&C team to their existing Producer Credentialing Information System (appoint@UHC.com). You no longer need separate appointment paperwork for All Savers/UHC Level Funded plans.
All new fully insured appointments will also be appointed for level-funded except for Hawaii and Vermont.
Agents who are already appointed for fully insured should send a request to appoint@UHC.com to add a level funded appointment. Include the agent information and the states that are being requested.
Updated Participation & Floor Certification Form
You can use UHC’s participation and floor certification form in place of the wage and tax documentation for fully insured small business groups with 10 or more eligible employees. This form has been updated with a June 2022 revision date. Effective immediately, this version is required for all August 1, 2022 and later effective dates.
