Kaiser Permanente® created Pride Medical at Capitol Hill to meet the unique health needs of the LGBTQ+ community. The inclusive medical practice is devoted to meeting the health care needs of the LGBTQ+ population. The goal is to create care options that support the LGBTQ+ population in the Mid-Atlantic market so they are comfortable accessing important health care services in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Pride Medical at Capitol Hill is staffed by three Permanente physicians and a case manager who bring significant experience and passion for providing health care to LGBTQ+ patients. Pride Medical offers an array of services including primary care including Ob/Gyn, behavioral health services, meet-and-greet with physicians, health assessments, screenings, and immunizations. They also offer gender-affirming services for transgender people including discussions of gender identity, hormone therapy, as well as procedures, and surgeries. Find out more.
