We are excited to share that Oscar Health has announced three Q3 Promotions for July, August, and September effective dates. As a reminder, Oscar also has two bonus promotions running through Q3. Read on for full details.
The Promos
Relaxed Participation Rules As long as the number of employees in all locations is under 100, only employees in Oscar’s service area (Los Angeles and Orange Counties: rating regions 15, 16, 18) will be counted toward participation. No DE9C Is Required For: Group enrolling 5+ employees that supply the prior carrier’s bill with 80% of employees on the prior bill matching the enrollment do not need to submit the DE-9C. IFP Coverage Is a Valid Waiver An employee with individual coverage, with or without a subsidy (APTC), is considered a valid waiver. These underwriting promotions will apply to enrolled groups with effective dates through September 15, 2018.
The Bonuses
Oscar has two bonus promos running through Q3:
- Launch Bonus: Earn up to $75 per enrolled employee for new groups (with a minimum of four enrolled employees).
- First Case Bonus: Earn an additional bonus for your first case (of four or more enrolled employees)
