After careful consideration, Oscar has made the decision not to renew their Small Group plans in New York as of September 1, 2024.
Oscar has proudly served Small Group members in New York since 2017. They have valued their time in the market and key partners. Oscar made this decision after a long and thorough evaluation process. It will not impact New York IFP plans.
Oscar will continue to provide coverage for New York Small Group services through the end of each member’s policy, and specific timing is dependent on each groups’ enrollment date.
Key dates to know for New York Small Group:
- Oscar will no longer enroll new small groups in our New York Small Group plans beginning April 1, 2024.
- Oscar will not renew Small Group plans in New York beginning September 1, 2024.
- The last NY Small Group plans renewed will be those with effective dates of August 15, 2024.
- The last date of member coverage in the market will be August 14, 2025.
