Oxford has announced their small group updates for Q1 2025 in New York.
Annual Rate Change: 5.3% average rate increase
Quoting Availability: Rates In-House; ETA pending
Plan/Portfolio Updates:
- Plans are designed to be more affordable and simpler.
- Care Cash® now embedded into all non-HSA medical plans (except Healthy NY plans).
- Premium designation (tiered) plans discontinued.
- Place-of-Service Tiering (cost differential between freestanding facility and hospital) removed from all plans.
- UnitedHealthcare vision benefit now embedded into all plans (except Healthy NY plans).
- Calm Health App replaces AbleTo® beginning 1/1/2025 upon renewal
- Wellos Wellness App launches begining 1/1/2025.
- Virtual visits using small group medical plans with an HSA will now be subject to deductible
Network Updates:
- Platinum plans are now only available on the Freedom Network.
- PPO plans are now only available on the Freedom Network.
- Liberty Network consists only of EPO non-gated plans.
- All HSA plans on the Metro Network are gated.
Underwriting Guidelines: No changes.
