Although HR leaders are increasingly claiming that their companies offer quality benefits packages, including ancillary benefits, there is still a significant gap between what they say is being offered and what employees are expecting.
According to a recent report from Morgan Stanley, 83% of HR leaders “can recall a recent time when they were unable to grant a specific benefits request.” This figure is up from 78% in 2021.
Furthermore, 67% of HR leaders believe their companies are not adequately meeting the benefits expectations of employees, including ancillary benefits. This holds true for both new and more established employees.
As a result, 87% of HR leaders are concerned that their companies will lose more employees who feel that their needs and requests for benefits are not being sufficiently met. Consequently, HR leaders are emphasizing that these employers need to improve their benefits offerings, including ancillary benefits.
