Riverside Physician Network (RPN) doctors are moving to PrimeCare Riverside, which means more options for your clients in this area. Effective immediately, Blue Shield members may select RPN primary care physicians (PCPs) with a Trio HMO plan if they are in the network service area. Use the Trip ZIP code tool to confirm coverage areas.
Beginning January 2020, Riverside Physician Network name will be replaced by “PrimeCare Riverside” in Find and Doctor, as well as other resources such as Blue Shield network guides. Members with PCPs moving to PrimeCare will receive new ID cards with the PrimeCare name; this will not impact their PCP selection.
