Employers’ top-ranked benefits include healthcare, retirement savings, and leave benefits, according to an SHRM survey. Benefits such as mental health coverage, and telehealth showed upward movement. Here are some survey highlights about employers:
- 93% offer telehealth, up 20% since 2019
- 1 in 5 offer mental health days in addition to regular sick leave
- 98% offer some type of health coverage; 72% have a fully insured health plan and 26% have a self-insured plan
- The number of employers offering mental health coverage in 2022 hit a new high of 91%
- 63% offer FSAs and 57% offer HSAs
- 63% of employers that offer an HSA make employer contributions compared to 64% in 2018
