Starting with September 1 effective dates, UnitedHealthcare is now offering a richer set of dental plan designs for groups of 5-9. These options have already been available to groups of 10+ eligible. The new plan designs include:
- Ortho for child or child+adult (80% participation required if selling ortho under 10 enrolled)
- Endo/Perio in basic with 80% or 90% coinsurance without a waiting period
- UCR 85% or 90% without a waiting period
These new plan designs will be available to quote through Ebix/HealthConnect, and other external quote systems, starting January 2019. Until that time, please contact your LISI Sales representative to obtain a quote. And remember that UnitedHealthcare offers implant coverage to groups 10+ eligible!
