Effective immediately, UnitedHealthcare has announced an additional 15% discount on rates for their fourteen most popular small group dental plans, as determined by broker and quoting activity.
These plans have been matched against ACA metallic tiers to simplify matching dental benefit levels with comparable medical benefits; however, any of these plans may be matched to any medical plan. They can also be quoted on a standalone basis, allowing brokers to create customized solutions for each group.
In addition to the newly discounted rates, all current specialty promotions remain available and will "stack" on top of the discounts, including:
- Packaged Savings;
- Activate the Savings; and the
- 5% Dental Rate Cap Guarantee for Q4 2023/January 2024 groups.
This process should help brokers have easier conversations with their groups.
