When it comes to health plans, stability matters. Although there are a lot of changes happening in the market, what has not changed is UnitedHealthcare’s commitment to small business. For almost 40 years, they have been providing savings opportunities, a focus on innovation, and a variety of local and national network options.
If you have a client that is losing coverage due to a carrier exiting the group health insurance market, UnitedHealthcare/Oxford is offering some special incentives to both you as the broker and to your customers with up to 50 eligible employees. These incentives will apply for effective dates from June 2024 through December 2024.
- Broker Bonus: $60 bonus for each enrolled employee in new UnitedHealthcare/Oxford fully insured and UnitedHealthcare/Oxford level funded medical groups
- Level Funded Customer Implementation Credits: One-time $250 invoice credit for each enrolled employee in new UHC/Oxford level funded medical groups
- Specialty Customer Implementation Credits: Up to $75 in invoice credits for each enrolled employee within groups that elect at least two lines of specialty coverage.
- $50 invoice credit for each enrolled employee in a new Dental plan
- $15 invoice credit for each enrolled employee in a new Vision plan and
- $10 invoice credit for each enrolled employee in a new Basic Life plan (minimum of $25,000 flat benefit)
UnitedHealthcare/Oxford can now provide underwritten level funded quotes on groups with a prior group medical plan and at least 5 or more enrolling employees, using a member level census. Member level census includes legal first and last name, date of birth, gender, and home zip code.
Individual applications with medical questions are only required for underwriting of groups with 2-4 enrolling employees or with no prior group medical plan.
