UnitedHealthcare is providing $1.5 billion in direct financial relief for customers in response to COVID-19:
- Commercial Fully Insured Benefits: Depending on the plan, 5% to 20% credits will be applied to premium billings received by customers in June
- Medicare Advantage Plans: All specialist and primary care physician cost-sharing will be waived at least through the end of September
- AARP Medicare Supplement Policies: New and renewal premium price stability and support will be provided
- Medicaid Plans: The company is accelerating funds to state partners and critical care providers to serve more people and is expanding their housing, health, and homeless support programs, providing shelf-stable food and baby formula
