Portfolio Updates
Existing plans that carryover into 2023 have been updated to meet AV. Plans in Choice Simplified portfolio will have a new plan code. View the plan map to help identify the plan transitions from 2022 to 2023.
New plans have been added; 1 Platinum PPO, 2 Platinum HMO, and 1 Gold HMO. New plans will be offered on full and limited network options.
The Bronze PPO 7500 will have 2 versions of the plan design, each with their own plan code. One plan comes with the new UHC Rewards program, the other comes with the new Care Cash program. This is the only plan in the portfolio with 2 versions for the member to select their preferred reward program!
Reward Program Updates
The Motion program will be discontinued as of 2023, and a new program called UHC Rewards will take its place. While the motion program only applies to HSA plans, the new UHC Rewards program applies to all PPO and HSA plans. These programs will only be included with plans offered in the Choice Simplified portfolio. The programs are tied to specific plan designs, which means a member will only get 1 of the programs, not both.

Who is it available to? | Automatically included on all PPO and HSA plans (except for Bronze 7500 with Care Cash) | Automatically included only on Bronze 7500 with Care Cash (plan codes CV-O2 and CV-2P) |

Money is pre-loaded based on enrollment; $200 individual and $500 family. The balance will rollover up to $2,000 as long as the member remains enrolled in a Care Cash plan. |
How do members receive their credits? | Credits earned can be deposited into an HSA account OR loaded on a VISA gift card. | Members will receive a Care Cash debit card, pre-loaded with their designed enrollment value. |
How can members spend their credits? |
Credits deposited into an HSA account are used same as any other HSA account. Credits deposited onto a VISA gift card may be spent anywhere, including on non-health related expenses. |
Care Cash Debit Card may only be used on health related expenses to provide first dollar coverage. Specifically money can be used with network providers in the following categories:
