UnitedHealthcare has announced the following updates and changes for Q1 2025 in the District of Columbia:
- Quarterly Rate Change:
- HMO: 2.0% to 0.4% decrease
- HMO HSA: 3.7% increase
- POS: 0.2% increase
- POS HSA: 2.5% increase
- Plan/Portfolio Updates: 13 new plans have been added (8 HMO, 5 POS). All plans include UHC Core Rewards. All non-HSA plans include Care Cash, $0 copays for children's primary care visits, and $0 copays for virtual visits. HSA-qualified plans have a cost share of $0 after deductible for virtual visits.
- Network Updates: The Choice EPO has been discontinued. Participants will be mapped to a new plan at renewal.
- Underwriting Guidelines: No changes
