UnitedHealthcare has made the following small group plan changes for Q1 2025 in Maryland:
- Quarterly Rate Change:
- EPO: -2.5% (rate decrease)
- EPO HSA: -1.9% (rate decrease)
- HMO: -1.0% (rate decrease)
- HMO HSA: 0.5%-1.5% increase
- POS: -1.9% (rate decrease)
- POS HSA: -1.2% (rate decrease)
- Plan/Portfolio Updates: The plan portfolio has been streamlined and simplified.
- Network Updates: The last remaining plan on the OCI Preferred POS has been discontinued. Plan participants will be mapped to the OCI HMO.
- Underwriting Guidelines: No changes.
