Qualifying Event enrollment requests are simpler and quicker online!
Since the introduction of additional options last year for submissions of qualifying event enrollments, UnitedHealthcare is pleased to report that this functionality is helping meet their objectives for timely and accurate processing. Broker and employer support in this area, in particular, is helping to improve overall service levels to UnitedHealthcare and Oxford small business fully insured customers who use UHCeServices.
As a reminder, UHCeServices can be used to submit off-cycle, Qualifying Event enrollments, including transmission of supporting documentation. This will be the most efficient method of submission yet, and brokers and employers are encouraged to explore this option for these enrollments:
- Sign in to UHCeServices.com.
- Under "Quick Access Links," choose Enrollment and then select either New Member or Dependent, depending on which applies.
- Select Reason for Enrollment from the drop-down menu.
- Under Reason for Enrollment, click the Document hyperlink to view the supporting documentation that can be used for off-cycle enrollment requests.
- Provide the remaining information requested on the page: the date of the qualifying event, and the requested effective date.
- Finally, on the Review & Submit page, confirm that the information shown is accurate. You may also use the new, optional feature for uploading supporting documentation.
