UnitedHealthcare has announced their small group updates for Q1 2025 in New York.
Annual Rate Change: 1.0% average rate increase
Quoting Availability: coming soon
Plan/Portfolio Updates:
- Plans are designed to be more affordable and simpler.
- Calm Health App replaces AbleTo® beginning 1/1/2025 upon renewal
- Wellos Wellness App launches begining 1/1/2025.
- Virtual visits using small group medical plans with an HSA will now be subject to deductible
Network Updates:
- Expansion to the Mid-Hudson and Syracuse areas with UnitedHealthcare Choice and UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus.
Underwriting Guidelines: No participation requirements or waivers in the Mid-Hudson area.
Broker Commissions: Mid-Hudson area plans increased to 4%.
