[JANUARY 21, 2025] While a new contract was signed with Naples Comprehensive Health, since then, PROSCAN Imaging has opted not to more forward with the Agreement. Naples Comprehensive Health understands that PROSCAN Imaging is non-par with Florida Blue. Florida Blue has a robust network in Collier County, and members have multiple alternative options:

[OCTOBER 7, 2024] Florida Blue has reached a new multi-year agreement with Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH). NCH will remain in-network for all commercial business.
NCH primary care doctors (PCPs) will become out-of-network starting January 1, 2025, for Medicare Advantage members. All NCH specialists will remain in-network for Medicare Advantage members.
Most members in Collier County will be sent a letter to let them know that Naples Comprehensive Health is staying in the Florida Blue network. HMO members will be moved back to their assigned NCH PCP unless they have already self-selected a new PCP. If a member isn't moved back automatically, the member can contact Florida Blue by calling the number on the back of their ID card.
[AUGUST 19, 2024] All members treated by an affected provider during the claims six-month utilization look back period will begin receiving pre-termination notifications from Florida Blue. HMO Members whose PCP elections are affected by the potential termination will also receive information about reassignment to a new PCP, including how they may select their own new PCP if they wish.
[JULY 15, 2024] Florida Blue is in contract negotiations with Naples Comprehensive Health in Collier County, which operates two acute care hospitals, two physician/provider groups, and other specialty health care services in Southwest Florida. The current contract is scheduled to expire as of October 1, 2024. If the contract is not renewed, Naples Comprehensive Health would become an out-of-network provider at that time.

During the Independence Day holiday week, Naples Comprehensive Health sent letters to many affected patients alerting them about the current negotiations. Brokers may receive questions from clients' members about these letters' messaging from NCH.
The Florida Blue team is working hard on this matter and negotiating in good faith to reach a resolution, as part of their deep commitment to the people of their community. Renewal efforts are focused on addressing cost and quality, driving out inefficiencies, and rewarding NCH for delivery value. The negotiating team remains focused on avoiding any health care disruptions for their members, and on reaching an agreement to keep these providers in-network without significantly increasing health care costs for community members.
In the event that Naples Community Health does become a non-network provider on October 1, continuity of care will be available and members' PCPs will be reassigned.
