Walmart is in talks to strengthen their partnership with Medicare giant Humana. A merger has been discussed as a possible option. Pundits say that it’s more likely that the two companies will boost their partnership instead of diving into a merger. A deal could boost Wal Mart’s ability to offer more in-store health services. The two companies already have a co-branded Medicare drug plan. The talks come amid CVS Health's deal to acquire Aetna, Cigna's proposed merger with Express Scripts, and the possibility of Amazon entering the pharmacy business.
