While often presented as a singular benefit covering a wide range of family planning services (infertility treatments, adoption assistance, surrogacy assistance, and more), for compliance purposes its often necessary to split the plan into its component parts.
The tax treatment, compliance obligations, and documentation requirements will often vary from one component to the next, and there is not a one size fits all answer to the compliance issues presented by such plans.
