Anthem Blue Cross is bringing back a new and improved limited HMO network, Priority Select, in regions 15 through 19. This network was built with the following criteria in mind: medical groups demonstrating efficiency, uncompromising value, and attractive rates. All HMO plans will be on this lowest cost HMO network.
The CaliforniaCare (Full) HMO can be offered with Select HMO. Select HMO can be offered with Priority Select HMO, making Anthem’s promotional underwriting guidelines for HMO products simple and robust.
Anthem is also introducing two new plan designs, effective July 1, 2019, which will provide you with more price points:
- Platinum HMO 20 (offered on all HMO networks). This provides a new buy-down option from Platinum 10
- Bronze PPO 60/6000/30% (offered on Full and Select PPO networks). This is the only Bronze PPO that offers a separate Rx deductible and medical deductible
