Principal cares about the integrity and privacy of client and employee data. As they provide more ways for you and your clients to do business with them digitally, they're making a change to how they process certain transactions.
Effective October 1, 2023, all new hire enrollment and employee terminations will need to be processed using Principal's eService platform. Paper forms will no longer be accepted. This is a faster, easier, and more secure way to process these transactions. It also allows clients and brokers to take care of benefit management at a time that's convenient for them.
Principal has released an Additions and Terminations guide for reference on completing these transactions.
